A non-profit project of publishing literature in the form of enchanting documentary that speaks about culture heritage of characteristic communities or groups across the globe. The Unfolded is intended to give the aesthetic pleasure for the readers by immersing into the true emotions and beautiful yet unseen perspectives of ones' journey through the world's corners.

We present not merely travel tips or top destinations to see but captivating and magical stories from travelers, journalists, and adventurers of the inspirational truth beyond their experiences. The stories focus on the sense of the cultural roots and have a narrative style in them, where ones putting the emotional involvement during travel and exploration into a symphony of words that can lead to an immersion in depth of the characters and bewilderment in the story details and lines. Even though we believe narratives are the best way to deliver the stories, as the technology goes, the visual approach can have the same impact as the narratives. We put the curated visual components and the narratives together to get the best of all.

WHAT WE

UNFOLD

The Unfolded has its mission to unfold the culture that are rarely been heard and hiding in each corners of the world, waiting to be discovered and revealed. The world is vast and full of secrets and we want to be involved learning it a little more every day. There are still more out there that eyes can capture, the timeless and long-lasting things that knock off our feet. We believe that these diversities give color to the world and they need to be looked after.

The Unfolded unfolds the living cultural heritage which is manifested in the scope of oral traditions or expressions, performing arts, traditional craftsmanship, social practices, rituals, and festive events, as well as knowledge, skill concerning nature and the universe. By unfolding them, it will increase the public involvement and support through communication. The readers would also be more aware and conscious about how diverse the universe is and things can't be seen only in one dimension from one side. This would raise the tolerance between humans and impact the rise of appreciation of one another which is what we need in the world today. It would be unfolded as well all the efforts for the heritage (especially their management and preservation), so that to keep alive the heritage in danger especially by neglects.

The Unfolded gives concern of its content in the heritage sites listed by UNESCO. World heritage site is a landmark or area which has been officially recognized and selected on the basis of having cultural, historical, scientific or some other form of significance, and they are legally protected by international treaties. The sites are regarded as being important to the collective interests of humanity. The Unfolded unfolds the heritages' peculiarity and gets deeper on their values. They are not just tourist destinations, but heritage each one of us needs to nurture.

The aspects to be told could be from any angle, from the tourism point of view by describing the experience in the heritage site, or by the cultural point of view by going deeper of the human interaction and living traditions there with all the issues happening, or by the architectural, technological, geological, environmental, or any specific perspectives.

At the moment we are collaborating with journalists, travelers, anthropologists, socialists, volunteers, and we’re open for everybody who would like to share their journeys with us. As it is a non-profit project, all the activities are voluntary and would be highly appreciated. We would like to invite everyone for this social project. In the future we would like to have a community who draws the same breath with us and who shares the same mind.
